Baubauhaus

Modern twist on the Bauhaus? Hey at least this one actually gets art to the masses. Baubahaus has got some inspiration for us all.

Pretty in pink

Cedric Rivrain. Beautiful fashion illustraion, need I say more?

Totally, un-fashion related

So, I have come across the tumblog cute boys with cats. This entire blog is devoted to none other than cute boys with cats! However, for the most part the cats are much more cute.

C'est Moi

I have simply fallen in love with these wedges! Who knows how long the whole stud-trend will be in for, but for the moment these shoes are divine! Co- designed by Jeffery Cambell and
Emily L., you can get your hands on a pair at needsupply

Biba

Biba, a true legend. (Totally made the shopping experience what it is today!)... and you got to love Barbara Hulanicki for describing her clientele as: " postwar babies who had been deprived of nourishing protein in childhood and grew up into beautiful skinny people: a designer's dream."
Sometimes I wish the 60s vibe was still around. Who doesn't love rocking out in minis and mod prints? Oh Biba, please come back!

Art for Art's Sake.

Umm can somebody say amazing? Francoise Nelly uses the palette-knife technique to create her paintings. The vibrant colours and thick paint almost reminds me of Nolde's "Still life with masks". Anyways, love her work.

Happy Sunday

...hungover, and forcing myself to study. Lovely.

Braids Braids Braids

So braids are obviously everywhere for spring. We saw them on the runways, saw models wearing them around town, saw them in magazines and probably even on your moms facebook. But honestly, havent they been done already? like a gazillion times? Remember the Lauren Conrad braid (that Sienna Miller actually started first) which every single girl that watched the Hills copied?

I think its time for someone to come up with something a little more creative to do with our hair...obviously that someone isn't going to be me, and since (I admit) braids actually do look good, I guess I can handle it till the trend dies down.

Shes Jack

This seventeen year old girl from California's got some talent. Shes Jack photographer Jacqueline Rivera has some great photos that are worth your while to check out. Now that my first year of fashion is comin' to an end I'm thinking of purchasing a camera, possibly fish eye?

Broken Heart

"Absinthe" by Degas, and "Chronos Devouring one of his Children" by Goya.
Besides studying for an Art History exam, I had a terrible weekend. Can you tell?

Home

This is a crazy picture I took last year, while I was sadly attending an Avril Lavigne concert. Totalllyy rad view of the city!! I think you can see my condo, not sure. I actually love this city.
Everyone and anyone who wants to know what's going on in Toronto definitely needs to follow 1 ♥ T.O blog. They post sweet suff going on in the city!!

PDA

For the most part pda is gross. On the other hand, photographic pda is kinda cute.

Sleep Over

So, Sunday night Cola and I went to a slumber party at Ourspace thrown by Mark Hunter and the Studio Gallery Crew. Everyone got dressed up in their best "sleep over" outfits too..
Played some twister and felt like I was in grade 7 again.

Shenae Grimes made an appearance. She had the sickest studded leather jacket on. Who knew she was so tiny in person..
Mark matched his BFF and wore his hair in a bun and a robe...this man is very proud of his chest hair.

Theres were pinatas...of course!! Can everyone please look at the guy in the background on the left...the look he's giving Cola is the greatest-he wishes he had a bra over his eyes.

Shenae and the crew from Canada's own Hill's inspired show, JacLife. I was really digging the blue lips, but Cola thinks they are too hypothermia-ish.

Cola and I, pic was taken from Cobra's site.

Got really classy, and took off my heels on our walk home.
Night time in TO is the best.

The City

I am in New York with drawl. I really miss everything about it, especially Soho, and Brooklyn. The Sbarro there was the most amazing food I have ever eaten in my ENTIRE life: the square slices of pepperoni pizza!! I think I have to go to the Eaton Centre tomorrow for lunch now, just to get a slice, although it tastes way better in NY. Marta took that sweet picture of me in Central Park-she is a photographer as I am a cartoonist.
The picture of the subway also reminds me of Lady Gaga, so I love it.
I ♥ NYC
See you next spring.

Let's see Heidi's new face already

Cheers to the last time we will ever have to see Kristen Cavallari on television, to all the hilarious Spencer Pratt one-liners, to the ghost of Lauren Conrad, and cheers to the last season of The Hills.
Sad.
