Marlow was over the other day, and for this editorial magazine spread she needed some "lookbook" style pictures. AND I WAS HONOURED, that she asked me to be the model, with my shortness and all.. but check out my Jeffrey Campbells (L). She's actually so good at photog. I want her to take more pictures of me. hehe

Bleeding Love

On an unrelated- to- fashion note: I'm addicted to True Blood! Two episodes a day basically sums up what I do with my spare time. I don't mind that I was a little slow to jump onto the band-wagon. Vampires are sexy!

The student life

Cheers to being broke, sleeping in 'till five on a day off, having no food and living off of coffee, then not being able to sleep because of the coffee, oh and not even being able to fix a run-on sentence.

I was just browsing this fall collection, and there are like 70 outfits I swear, and these three stood out most to me!!! The jacket is super cute, and if I were still in high school I would find the funds to get that little black dress for prom. I just don't like red shoes even though they are very fall ish.

I've been doing a lot of walking lately and happened to walk by this place. Haute Classics Consignment Shop. If you're looking for a great deal on designer pieces this is the place to be. The shop is just a little north of Yonge and Bloor. It's kind of small but rammed with deals! Check out the website to get a better feel for the place (and they offer online shopping too!)

It's (tea) party time

Yes, my friends and I had a tea party. What else is there to do on a beautiful Sunday morning anyways. Well, actually it was deathly hot. Anyone in Toronto would understand the heatwave we went through. Anyhow, for any tea lovers out there Second Cup Vanilla Creme Black Tea is a must, but for some reason I can't get my hands on it at any Second Cup I go to... out of stock already?

Back to School

I hate to say it but I've got the back to school blues. I'm not looking forward to school what so ever. I know I should be excited and all, but 8am classes are really not my thing. On one hand I'm looking forward to all the new trends!

p.s I bought the trench coat that Daria is rockin' for the H&M Fall Collection. Shopping high!!

Aside from being bartender, bottle service girl and hostess this summer I have finally decided to do some fashion-related work! Finally. So I'm currently interning at bel ami headbands. Thank you Gaga for creating such a rage for pretty bows and headbands such as these! Not only have the bel ami headbands been included for gift bags for little miss Suri Cruise (as we all know Katie Holmes is filming in Toronto), but who doesn't want to be seen in a chic headband?

Proenza Schoular has really made an impression on me the past two seasons. Their fall 2010 clothes are just to die for!! I am clearly a fan of black leotards, and the baby doll dress, oh my gosh. They actually use the cutest printed fabrics. PLUS: the models are skeletrons, and rocking really dark lips with pale skin, which is probably what I will look like when September rolls around. So thank you for this vampness.

Study Dates

I can't deny the fact that I am, more frequently, thinking about back-to-school outfits and accessories. I've always loved getting new book bags and shoes and such, but since being schooled in fashion, I am WAY more excited to see what trends everyone rocks this fall. My predictions are continuous sightings of denims, furs, leopard, ugh, big chunky knits (yay!) and probably boots like usual. MY favourite fall outfits are usually skinny pants with huge sweaters to drown in, with chunky boots and messy hair, the MK look, obviously. No one does NY fall fashion better than Mary-Kate.

I Miss Summer Roberts

The one and stylish, Rachel Bilson, has never left my radar since the O.C ended in 2007. She follows trends as much as I follow Justin Bieber on twitter... I see pictures of her in every fashion blog/magazine/site that I visit! Anytime you need an outfit idea just look up her candid pictures on Rachel-b !!! Her style is very up-to-date.

I sort of miss school right now; seeing all the girls in the latest fashions and motivating me to shop and put together amazing outfits. Summer is meant for leisure, while fall and winter are for the hard all-nighters and late work hours.

Raging Farm Animals

Illustrations by Nicholas Di Genova, a fellow Torontonian!! He's been successful in showcasing his work as far as New York, Berlin and Asia! Very futuristic meets farm animals. LOVEEE the dark cartoon outlines, my fave type of illustrations are cartoons.
